My journey to creating luxury wedding cakes

When I first started baking, my goal was simple, to make cakes that taste as good as they look. Over the years, that philosophy has stayed at the heart of everything I do, but my vision has evolved.

As Danielle’s Cakes Pershore continues to grow, I’m embracing a new chapter: one focused on modern, elegant, luxury wedding cakes that balance beauty, artistry, and unforgettable flavour.

I’ve spent years perfecting my recipes and flavour pairings; light, moist sponges layered with fillings that enhance rather than overwhelm. Each recipe is created from scratch, using quality ingredients and a lot of love. My couples often say it’s the first wedding cake they’ve actually wanted seconds of and that means everything to me.

Beyond the taste, I’m deeply passionate about design. I love creating sugar flowers that make people stop and stare, capturing the realism and delicacy of nature. I draw inspiration from wedding florals, textures, and tones, aiming to create cakes that feel like a seamless part of your day.

As I step further into the luxury market, my goal is to craft refined, bespoke designs that truly reflect my couples’ personalities while feeling elevated and timeless.
